Reading Time: < 1 minuteDid you think that it was possible for 120,000-year-old footprints to exist? Experts have been searching the Nefud desert in Saudi Arabia for years and found seven sets of Homo Sapiens footprints in an area that used to be an ancient lakebed (the floor of a lake). It looks like humans walked the shores of the lake 120,000 years ago looking for water or to track other animals!
“These are the first genuine human footprints of Arabia,” says archaeologist and team leader Michael Petraglia. These footprints are evidence that humans lived in the Arabian Peninsula so many years ago!
