Hello Readers,

It’s that time of the year when we dust off the cobwebs at home, buy new clothes and celebrate some quality time with family. Diwali has always been special and inclusive in India and this year is no different despite what’s been happening.

At Owliver’s Post, we’re feeling the festive cheer already, and will be bringing you special Diwali and Children’s Day stories every day from across the world! Not just that, but at the end of this special week, there will be a firecracker of a surprise waiting for you! Stay tuned to this block for more updates as we get closer!

That being said, I wish you all a wonderful and safe festival season this year, with the hope that next year, we will be able to celebrate in bigger groups as we’ve always done.

For Diwali 2020, Owliver’s Post presents:

  • Is Diwali only about bursting crackers? Pia Bakshi explores this thought and highlights how we can be a little more responsible with our celebration this year.
  • Has your state gone cracker free? Find out here.
  • Cow dung diyas are here to stay. Read more.
  • Heroes don’t always wear capes, and they’re not always adults! Read our special on young leaders who have been the face of movements across the world.

Keep Hooting,

Anusha
