Started in 2013 by young parents  Arunprasad Durairaj, Vijaybabu Gandhi, and Shreenidhi Srirangam, Flintobox produces STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) based activity boxes for 2-3, 3-4, and 8-12-year-olds. It started with an attempt to engage young minds in productive activities as against screen time.

Learning by doing is the best kind of learning and FlintoBox makes that happen!

How does it work?

Flintobox offers theme based educational activities for young minds. Each box has 3-4 activities based on one theme. These could be plants, vegetables, space, transportation etc. It also comes with a storybook! There are activities on science, art, storytelling, games, and more all centered on a new theme every month. Also, these boxes can be reused.
The boxes are curated by child psychologists and Motessori experts. So, you know you are learning from the best.

The name Flintobox comes from flint, which is a sedimentary rock that sparks when struck against steel.

How does it reach you?

The company follows a subscription model. So, if you subscribe to a Flintobox, a box is delivered to you every month. You can choose a membership that lasts 3 months, 6 months or an entire year.
Subscribers of Flintobox also have access to its curated list of digital content on parenting and alternative education.

What’s new for Flintobox?

At present, Flintobox has a presence in 45 cities and has over 10 lakh subscribers!
