Movie theatres finally open as part of Unlock 52 min read

Have you missed going for a movie — the dimming lights that announce the start of the movie, the smell of popcorn during intermission, and the sounds of people shushing you from behind when your phone accidentally starts ringing? Your wait might be over!
The Central Government has given a green signal to the opening of cinema halls all over the country, except for containment zones, as part of the fifth phase of the unlock process. However, the States Governments are free to decide whether to keep these theatres open or close.
Movie theatres are allowed to open with 50% capacity with a ceiling of 200 people. Temperature scanning, wearing masks, maintaining social distancing (alternate seating arrangement), and the use of sanitisers will be mandatory, of course. Temperature of the halls will be maintained between 25 to 30 degree celsius.
Did you know that some theatres are also providing PPE kits? Even food and beverages will be sterilised under UV rays for 8 minutes before being served! This is yet another step towards embracing the new normal for as long as it stays.

What do you think about this step? Do you feel it is safe to go to a hall to watch a movie?
If yes, which movie, old or upcoming, will you like to watch on the big screen? Let Owliver know!
