Have you experienced the bizarre and colorful 1988 film Beetlejuice yet? Made by the talented and eccentric director Tim Burton, this 90-minute long musical- comedy is terrifying— if you’re a ghost.

When Barbara and Adam Maitland suffer an untimely demise in a car accident on their way back from the hardware store, they find that rather than going where the rest of the dead go, they are stuck haunting their own house. The only problem—their home isn’t even theirs anymore. Moreover, its new owners aren’t exactly friendly.

Tip of the day: Remember, whatever happens, you don’t say Beetlejuice more than twice!

Enter the goofy ghost: Beetlejuice. Played by the actor Michael Keaton, this self-proclaimed “bio-exorcist claims to be the best in the field and promises to rid Barbara and Maitland of their human invaders. However, soon after his eye-popping tricks start giving the humans the heebie-jeebies, chaos erupts. Barbara and Adam realize that they’ve got a far more notorious problem on their hands.
