On Sunday, the highly-anticipated final of the French Open took place between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. In the end, Nadal stood unbeaten.

Novak Djokovic lost the final with a 6-0 set for the first time, and he later stated that Nadal was “playing all the right shots.” Djokovic also stated that Nadal played the first two sets “virtually perfect.”

The final score was 6-0, 6-1, and 7-5.

Nadal now has the same number of Grand Slam titles as Roger Federer. Federer stated on social media that Nadal’s achievement of 13 titles in the French Open was “one of the greatest achievements in sport.”

The French Open has come to a close, but the door is wide open for Nadal and Federer to take their 21st Grand Slam title.
