Some people have been missing travelling so much, they’re spending a lot just to eat a meal on a plane!

Hundreds of people are paying the price of a plane ticket to have a meal inside Singapore Airlines jets. Some people are playing 470 dollars (1 dollar is 73.31 rupees as of October 14. Can you calculate how much 470 dollars is in rupees?) to eat their lunch on a plane!

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the aviation industry, which refers to all the businesses and activities surrounding flights, suffered a lot due to strict rules for travel. So, Singapore Airlines decided to give customers the chance to dine on two A380s – the world’s largest passenger jet.

This plan is so popular that 900 seats have already been booked for lunch on October 24 and 25!

The airline has also started a home delivery option for those not wanting to step out of their houses.
