Choose India’s National Butterfly2 min readReading Time: 2 minutes
Did you know that September is Big Butterfly Month in India? This year, we are celebrating these small creatures through many activities like counting the number of butterflies seen across India between September 14-20, and 50 experts will also choose the ‘National Butterfly of India’.
To win the National Butterfly of India title, the butterfly should look very attractive, be important to our country and the world, be easy to find, and must not already have a State title!* (Five states in India have official butterflies – Maharashtra, Kerela, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, and Tamil Nadu)
Look at the pictures below to see the seven finalists!
Now that you know who the finalists are, would you like to vote for the National Butterfly of India? Click here to vote for your favourite butterfly before October 8.
